Reaching Out and Helping All That We Can
We have served over 3500 patients in the past five years and continue to hear the wonderful support of patients and the community. One patient that was seen a few months ago told me she had called over 20 dentists in town and no one would help. She was brought to tears when I told her we could. Her teeth were making her sick. She came to the Urgent Care Walk-In Dental Clinic and we helped by extracting the bad teeth and pointed her in the right direction to get continued dental care.
Many of the patients that come to us are in despair and have no options. We just hope we are able to help them and lead them to better dental health. Without the support of the community through donations and volunteering, we could not continue to do this great service.
DMF Matching Grant Funds Still Needed
RRVDAP started its fundraising campaign for the DMF Matching Grant in November. Thank you for all the generous donations already received. It is greatly appreciated. We have approximately $10,000 more to be raised to capture the matching funds still available. This money is used for our operating expenses. We will continue to send letters asking for support, without it our doors could not remain open.
